The Saatchi Gallery has always aimed to
provide an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely
unseen young artists or by established international artists whose work has
been rarely or never exhibited in the UK.
The Saatchi Gallery own collection includes large scale shows by the
Chapman brothers, Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas and Jenny Saville
but will also present exhibitions from other international collections and
museums that would be of interest to a UK audience. Charles Saatchi
continues to curate and install many of the exhibitions.
Anna Vickery is a freelance curator,
recommended by the Saatchi Gallery, who also
worked for commercial galleries and lectures
on fine-art degree courses.
